It is a cold winter day and they have nothing else to do because they are immigrants with no rights, papers, home, life. They are just warming themselves with the winter sun, watching the ferries pass by, dreaming about the promised land across the sea and hoping that this night will be the lucky one when they manage to hide in a truck and slip past police control.
